Duel Decks: Jace vs. Chandra is a set of Magic: The Gathering decks released November 7, 2008.[1] Jace vs. Chandra is the second installment of the Duel Decks series. It consists of two sixty card ready-to-play decks. Each deck focuses on one of two Planeswalkers first introduced in the Lorwyn expansion set: Jace Beleren and Chandra Nalaar.
The set contains two mythic rare cards and six rare cards instead of the four rare cards Jace vs. Chandra's predecessor, Elves vs. Goblins, included. The two Planeswalker cards, Jace and Chandra, although initially printed as rare in the Lorwyn set, are reprinted as foil mythic rares with alternative art. There are also four other cards reprinted with alternative art (Counterspell, Fact or Fiction, Incinerate, and Seal of Fire). All of the cards are black bordered and tournament legal in their respective formats.[2]
